Invervar Community Association
Object to Invervar Hydro Proposal
Key Dates
Planning Objections - Must be received by 9th September
Because this scheme is greater than 1.2 megawatts it falls under Section 36 and the planning application is considered by the Scottish Executive. All planning objections must be received by the Consents Unit at the Scottish Executive by 9th September.
Also a CAR licence has been applied for by the developer to allow water abstraction from the Invervar Burn. The application is made to SEPA who are the granting authority. This is a new part of the planning process and objections should be lodged independently with SEPA to ensure full weight is given to those. Your objections will be copied to SEPA unless you uncheck the box regarding SEPA below.
The Mountaineering Council of Scotland have objected to the application.
The Scottish Canoe Association is expected to object to the application.
