Edwin Morgan - Collected Poems
For innovation, longevity, and major talent few can rival the fantastic Edwin Morgan. He has a unique voice and to hear him read his own poems is a real treat. This diminuitive octogenarian giant from Glasgow will be remembered as a major poet in years to come. His collected poems (1949-1987) runs to over 600 pages. Don't let that put you off. There's something for everyone. His humour shines through with sparkling regularity. I frequently dip into this and never tire of his wit and observation. One of my real favourites.
